Some shots from Casa Loma, in Toronto (Part I). First time testing out my new Canon 70D camera a little while back
This weekend’s half hour power project. My camera has been in for repairs, so I decided to make a little design in lieu of a photograph. Happy Sunday!
This week’s Half Hour Power Project:

Week 2: Cupcakes
Made these for the best co-workers.
I’m going to try something new starting today.
I’ve decided to embark on a little project I like to call the “Half Hour Power Project.”
Here’s what it boils down to:
Between working full time, coaching 4 days a week, planning an Ice Show, and squeezing in a little yoga on the side, I have hardly had any free time outside of my structured schedule. Recently, I have felt this restless and stifling urge to be creative again. I have all this lovely camera equipment that has gone far too unused in the past little while, and I feel sort of guilty for claiming that I can be a photographer, while barely keeping up my practices.
This is where my Half Hour Power Project comes in. I am going to set up, shoot, and retouch a set of three photos, and then post them here. All in thirty minutes.
Here is the very start. Week one: my skates. Because it was the most obvious choice for me.
